Decent tool, delivery was slow

I signed up for the Monthly Subscription to convert my WordPress site. The app previewer app worked well, and the interface for building the app was pretty intuitive, even for a non-coder like me. I liked the custom app icon design feature too. However, the initial app build and delivery took 4 days to reach my account after payment, which was a bit frustrating as I was hoping for something quicker. Once I got it, the app itself functioned as advertised, and the real-time sync was a bonus. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, but the waiting period was still a drawback.

Good for simple app creation

I tried the Website to App Converter. It did what it said, created an app from my site quickly. Setup was straightforward, and the app looked decent. Publishing support was helpful. The Real-time Sync feature works well. A solid tool, but some advanced customization felt limited.

Absolutely love this App Builder!

I used the Website to App Converter for my blog, and it's fantastic! The process was so straightforward, and my app looks perfect on both Android and iOS. I can't believe how easy it was to get a native app without any coding. I will definitely be using AppMySite again for future projects and have already told my friends about it!

Made an e-commerce app fast

I needed an app for my WooCommerce store and decided to try AppMySite's WooCommerce to App Builder. The whole process was quicker than I expected. I opted for an Annual Subscription, which saved me some money. Connecting my store was smooth, and the Product Filter Add-on was a nice touch for shoppers. I also got the App Store Publishing Support, and they walked me through what I needed to do, which was a relief since I'd never done that before. My app got approved for both Android and iOS fairly quickly. The only minor thing was that setting up the Payment Gateway Integration took a bit of back and forth, but we got there eventually. Overall, it's a good way to get an e-commerce app without a lot of hassle.

Good value, minor snag

I purchased an Annual Subscription for the WooCommerce to App Builder. The setup was mostly smooth, and my store looks good as an app. It's a solid platform for the price. My only minor issue was that it took a little longer than expected to get the push notifications add-on working correctly, but support eventually helped me out. Overall, I'm satisfied with the functionality and the cost-effectiveness.

Great features for the price

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best deal. I got the Annual Subscription for the Android App Builder during a sale, and it was a really good price. The features included, like the splash screen designer and app store publishing support, made it feel like a very complete package for what I paid. I was able to get my app ready without feeling like I was overspending. Definitely felt worth the purchase for my small business.

Turned my site into an app!

I used AppMySite to turn my website into an app and it was pretty easy. I got the Annual Subscription and picked the WordPress to App Builder option. It took me a few days to figure out all the settings, especially with the Push Notifications Add-on, but once I got it, it worked. The app previewer was helpful for seeing how things looked. The app runs fine on my phone, which is cool. Just wish the setup was a tiny bit more intuitive in a few spots.

Where do I even put the coupon code on AppMySite? Can't find it.

N NishaV 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
It's usually on the checkout page, right before you finalize payment. Look for a small text link or box.

Are you trying to stack codes? I heard they don't allow multiple coupons.

Make sure you're on the right plan too. Some codes are for specific plans like the Agency Plan promo.

Anyone seen a good AppMySite lifetime deal lately?

P PriyaS 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
They had one on AppSumo ages ago. Missed it then, still kicking myself.

Think that was before they added all the WooCommerce stuff too.

Yeah, those AppSumo deals are gold if you catch them.

A AnjaliK 1 month ago
Their annual plan discount is usually pretty decent, not exactly a lifetime deal but a good saving.

True, thinking of just doing the yearly one for now.

I heard rumors about a Black Friday one, but nothing concrete.

just wondering if they ever do a lifetime deal? really don't wanna get stuck with monthly payments forever if I can avoid it.

H Hannah Johnson 1 month ago
Yeah, they do sometimes! I actually grabbed one a while back, I think it was during an AppSumo thing. Keep an eye out around Black Friday or their launch periods.

L Lisa Torres 1 month ago
I saw one too, but they're not always available. Usually really limited time. They do annual plans with decent discounts though, if you miss the LTD.

can you actually cancel the subscription easily? some places make it a nightmare to stop paying.

J Jason D. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. I cancelled my first plan to upgrade to a different tier, no issues at all. Just do it before your next billing cycle.
5
A Andrew 1 month ago
i think you just go into your account settings and hit cancel. it's not like you have to call anyone or anything. your app stops working if you cancel though, so keep that in mind.

how long does it really take to get an app ready to go? I'm talking like, from starting to actually having something I can test.

J Jeff Williams 1 month ago
Honestly, if your website is ready, you can have a basic app previewable in like, an hour or two. Getting it perfect and submitted to stores takes longer, but the initial build is super fast.

J Jessica S. 1 month ago
Depends on how much customization you want. I had a simple blog app in literally minutes. The real time sink is setting up all your push notifications and integrations, and then waiting for app store reviews.

is there any way to try it out without giving them my credit card info? just want to see how it works before committing.

M Mary W. 1 month ago
You can usually preview your app for free. You build it, and then use their previewer app on your phone to see how it looks. You don't need a card for that part.
6
J Jason Turner 1 month ago
No free trial without a card afaik, but the preview feature lets you build out pretty much the whole thing and see it in action on a device. That's usually enough to know if it's for you.

Hey, I'm thinking about getting the annual plan. Are there usually any good deals around Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

R Robert A. 1 month ago
Oh yeah, they always have huge sales then. I got like 50% off last Black Friday for my annual plan. Definitely worth waiting if you can.
3
R Rachel A. 4 weeks ago
For sure. And sometimes they do those lifetime deals too, not just annual discounts. Keep an eye on AppSumo around those times.

So, how legit is AppMySite? Been seeing some mixed reviews for these no-code builders and don't wanna waste my time.

A Amanda Scott 1 month ago
It's legit. I've been using it for a year now for a small business app. The apps actually work and pass store review, which was my biggest concern.
6
S Sean Smith 1 month ago
I'd say it's legit for what it is. It's not gonna build you a custom TikTok clone, but for turning a website into a functional app, it does the job. Compared to Appy Pie, I found it more straightforward.

hey, trying to decide between this and Appy Pie. Anyone used both and can tell me which one's easier or better for a small biz store?

B Betty Williams 1 month ago
I tried Appy Pie first, it was okay but I felt AppMySite gave me more control over the look without needing to code. Especially for an e-commerce site, I think it edges it out.
5
M Matt Smith 1 month ago
AppMySite is pretty good for WordPress/WooCommerce users, they have specific features for that. If your store is on something else, maybe check their general 'website to app' features. Appy Pie felt a bit more generic to me.

Does this actually work well with WordPress sites? Like, if I have a complex blog, will it convert nicely into an app?

S Sean Scott 1 month ago
Yeah, that's what I used it for, my WordPress blog. It pulls pretty much everything over, like posts and categories. Just make sure your site is responsive already, that helps a lot.
4
M Michelle Flores 1 month ago
My Woocommerce store worked surprisingly well. I think it's designed for WordPress specifically, so you should be good. Real-time sync was a lifesaver.
